However, Renault has not officially confirmed the new variants, their specifications or launch date. The markings indicate homologation-related testing but should not yet be treated as confirmation of the final production configuration.

More Power for the Triber? The updated Triber is expected to use Renault’s 1.0-litre, three-cylinder turbo-petrol engine , which is already available in the Kiger. In the Kiger, this engine produces up to 100PS and 160Nm , but its output could be recalibrated for the Triber.

A factory-fitted CNG system is also being reported. An underfloor or dual-cylinder arrangement could help preserve the Triber’s luggage flexibility, although Renault has not disclosed its tank layout, mileage or CNG-mode performance.

Features Likely to Remain Familiar The cabin is expected to remain broadly similar to the current Triber, which offers flexible seven-seat packaging. Depending on the variant, equipment could include an 8-inch touchscreen, automatic climate control, automatic headlights and rain-sensing wipers.

Renault may introduce cosmetic highlights or Turbo badging to distinguish the more powerful versions.

Expected Launch and Competition Reports indicate a possible launch around September or October 2026 , but an official date has not been announced.

The Triber Turbo-CNG could offer buyers a combination of improved performance, lower running costs and seven-seat practicality. It would primarily challenge the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga CNG , while the upcoming Nissan Gravite may also become a rival after its launch.
